The Acclaim Awards are delighted to announce this exciting partnership with the Fondazione Pergolesi Spontini in
Jesi, Italy.

The Acclaim Italian Opera Fellowship will provide four young Australian singers with the ‘Opera’ opportunity of a lifetime!

CONTRACT AWARD #1           

• A professional contract to perform a role in the Pergolesi - Spontini  (Baroque) Festival
• Tuition and coaching in singing in the Italian language for 2 weeks prior to the contract start date
• Return travel from an Australian capital city to  Jesi, Italy
• Accommodation and per diems
• Performance clothing from Linda Britten Australia and Antonio Oriti Menswear

CONTRACT AWARD #2

• A professional contract to perform a role in the Fondazione Pergolesi - Spontini  Lyric Opera Season
  (Between October and December)
• Tuition and coaching in singing in the Italian language for 2 weeks prior to the contract start date
• Return travel from an Australian capital city to  Jesi, Italy
• Accommodation and per diems

STUDY GRANT AWARDS #3 and #4

• Four weeks tuition and coaching in singing in the Italian language whilst observing rehearsals and performances
  of either the Baroque Festival or the Lyric Season mentioned above (depending on voice type)
• Return travel from an Australian capital city to Jesi, Italy
• Accommodation and per diems

Both Acclaim and the Fondazione Pergolesi Spontini believe strongly in the importance of cultural exchange. 
This brilliant opportunity will allow young Australian singers to experience, first hand, the Italian Opera language
and style free of financial burden.  They will also be presented on the European stage by one of the most respected organisations in Italy.

Stage One Auditions will be by DVD presentation (TBA)
Stage Two (for selected auditionees) will take place in Melbourne (TBA)
All four winners will be required to attend a series of Masterclasses during the week following Stage Two (travel and accommodation will be provided for those not resident in Melbourne)
